Pets are attracted to many things,even the one that is not food.
So if you see this things lying on your carpet or floor,be careful:
Underwear
Towel
Shocks
Piece of string
Plastic toy
Hairy toy
Food container
Food wrapper
Other cooked meal with bones
Those things could caused a serious problem had they ate it,they might get choked or even surgery.
